The National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons collected contributions from its plastic surgeon membership and purchased bicyles helmets. The helmets were donated to Washington DC inner district children to prevent head and facial injuries from bicylce accidents. Over 300 bicycle helmets were donated and all were given out to benefit and protect children.
