Dr. Davison graduated from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland with a degree in dentistry. After advanced reconstructive training at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, he studied medicine at the University of Maryland and graduated with his medical degree in 1992. He completed training in Otolaryngology at the Mayo Clinic and Plastic Surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh. He recently relocated his busy Georgetown University Hospital practice to provide a “patient-centric” environment at DAVinci Plastic Surgery. He spent nine years at Georgetown and was an Associate Professor in both Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology. Dr. Davison is triple boarded (Board Certified in three subspecialties) in Otolaryngology, Facial Plastic Surgery and Plastic Surgery. He is a fellow of the America College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.), and a member of numerous prestigious societies including: the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Society, and the Microsurgical Society. He has written 82 articles, several book chapters and E-medicine chapters. He is a national speaker on patient safety, prevention of deep vein thrombosis, and reconstructive surgery techniques, which he applies in his own practice.
