Dr. Nahabedian practices in Washington DC and Maryland. His areas of interest include breast surgery, cosmetic surgery, and microsurgery. Dr. Nahabedian’s principle focus is to provide women with breast cancer options for breast reconstruction following partial or total mastectomy. His expertise is is prinicpally with microsurgical breast reconstruction that includes DIEP, SIEA, SGAP and free TRAM flaps. He also performes prosthetic reconstruction using all types of devices. In total, Dr. Nahabedian has performed breast reconstruction on over 1,200 women and has reconstructed over 1,800 breasts. The other breast operations that he performes include breast reduction, breast augmentation, mastopexy, and a variety of secondary revisions in complicates cases. In addition to breast surgery, Dr. Nahabedian performs a variety of aesthetic procedures including facelift, liposuction, and abdominoplasty.

     Dr. Nahabedian has published over 70 peer reviewed manuscripts, 30 book chapters, and has been the editor of 3 text books folcued on plastic surgery of the breast. He also the current section editor for all manuscripts related to breast surgery and reconstruction submitted and published in the prestigious Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
